As of September 2009, 17 additional students are receiving the Beacon of Hope Scholarship thanks to the generosity of donors who contributed last year. That brings the total number of receipients to 75!

Award Presentation
Presenting the annual Kenneth and Thelma Lally Partnership in Catholic Education Award to Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Susan Brown for their contribution of time, talent and treasure to several Catholic Schools throughout the Diocese of Albany.
The Beacon of Hope Breakfast
Typically held in September, this free fundraising breakfast event is the primary source of revenue for Beacon of Hope. Table captains invite colleagues, friends and family to hear a one-hour, mission-filled presentation about Beacon of Hope while they are treated to breakfast. Guests are invited to donate to the fund, but there is absolutely no obligation to give. Spreading the word is just as much a priority for this event as is raising money.
The next Beacon of Hope Breakfast will take place in September 2010. Check back soon for details!
